Introduction On November 7, the October Revolution occured in the Provisional Russian government. Because of this, the Bolshevik party now known as the Russian Communists seized control of thr Russian government. However, the former remenets of the Tsarist government stood up and resisted the control of the Bolsheviks. A civil war erupted into the Russian Civil War between the Red Army Bolsheviks and the White Army. He took over for Vladimir Lenin in 1924 after the death of Lenin. Joseph Stalin was a major force in the Russian Revolution. He had been born in 1878 in Gori, the Russian Empire.He wanted to become within the church and joined a school that was for the church. He later joined a Church school and got his inspiration for Communism by reading Karl Marx’s books. Stalin did not support the church longer after reading Karl Marx and instead supported the idea of Communism and this is not strange since he was born into a poor family so he would want equality. But, he was expelled from the school and fell into a life of crime. He was imprisoned and during this time he became good friends with Vladimir Lenin who also liked the idea of communism. During the eve of the First World War, Stalin was exiled to Siberia and Lenin to Switzerland. In 1917, the Germans paid to return to Russia and launch a rebellion. In doing this it means that the 3 people: primarily the worker, the soldier, and the farmer are all the new rulers of the nation. They will have felt like they were in control of their country. But as we know, this was not true to any extent. They were merely duped as this was just for show and that they were not the real rulers.
