14 March 2023 The Existence of J.R.R J.R.R Tolkien influenced many people throughout his life, but it wasn’t always fair the way his life became. His writing was based on fantasy writing, Tolkien was born on January 3rd, 1892 and died in 1973. He grew up in the Edgartown area of Birmingham after his mother’s death. After, his mother’s death he attended King Edwards school and that is when he began his literature work. The life of Tolkien impacts his writing by designing his stories in fiction and writing them as an inspiration in his life throughout the things that would happen to him. Young children were amused by his work that it led to Tolkien wanting to continue with his writing career. Bloom was talking about the Hobbit and how it came an interest in children’s life no matter what age they were on. This quote was said to demonstrate the inspiration “Intelligent children of all ages.” This indicated that Tolkien brought so much inspiration to the world with his existence in writing. For example, The Hobbit continues to be a story written and read by many children of all ages. Children all over the world still look over his literature work and know him as one of the best English men to exist in history. The Hobbit is one of his most popular stories and is continued to be read and written by people all around the world, especially the young. A fight between these two characters and we know about Gollum’s evil side against Frodo. They were enemies and wanted to kill each other and they need to achieve a goal to be able to sacrifice one another. To be able to sacrifice each other Lewis said that Tolkien stated in his novel that “The key for each hobbit is to sacrifice the needs of the moment to achieve a greater goal, an ultimate triumph of one force over the other.” This points out that each hobbit had a challenge they must learn to put aside their immediate wants. By doing this it will pursue a larger objective and a final victory for one army over another. After the fight this is when Tolkien and his two towers of good and evil are being used describing Gollum and Frodo as his real-life situation example. He did not know what side he was on, so he challenged both sides as a sacrifice with their own
