Judicial Process A man, whose name is Mike Shiffer, walks into his ex-wife’s, Mary Shiffer’s, house on March 10, 2015, to talk about decreasing child support, that Mike pays for two kids. On the couch he sees Mary and her new boyfriend sitting and watching TV. Mike got very frustrated and jealous and could not control himself. He immediately decides to kill a guy and pulls out a knife from his pocket. He pushes away his ex-wife aside and starts stabbing Mary’s boyfriend until he dies. Blood was all over the couch and the floor. After Mike realises what he has done, he runs outside the house, turns on his car and drives away. Mary, therefore, calls the police. After ten minutes cops and ambulance arrived, but it was too late to save her boyfriend's life. They went to Mikes house at 10 a.m. and ringed the door, but no one opened it. Police decided to break the door and walk in. Once they were in the house they saw Mike sitting in the chair and drinking alcohol. Police present Mike with a warrant to arrest him and put handcuffs on him. They read Mike Shiffer his Miranda Rights, and had him booked for the murder. Upon arriving at the police station, police started to book Mike Shiffer. They asked him to show his id and took fingerprints. After Mike had a mugshot taken. Also, Police took a DNA swab and questioned Mike if he currently takes any medications, and also if he has any allergies. After, police took away all personal belonging, which included a cell phone, wallet, sunglasses and a pack of cigarettes. Then they gave Mike a jump-suit, a pair of socks, t-shirt and slippers. After they put him to jail, until Mike Shiffer gets to arraignment, which by the law should take no more that 72
