Dystopian literature has explored and captivated readers with striking, speculative worlds that are rich in themes representative of issues in human society for many years. One of the more prevalent themes is gender roles and their representation in dystopia. Women have been in an ongoing battle for the right to be acknowledged with fundamental human rights and to educate men who have historically run a structured society.
