With many awards Julie Andrews made her way to Broadway, New York as she was nominated with a Tony Award for starting in infamous musicals that are world-known, The Camelot and My Fair Lady. She later won an Academy Award for her role in the famous movie Mary Poppins. With Walt Disney recognizing Julie´s performance in the Camelot, they knew she was perfect for the leading role in Mary Poppins.
