Juliet’s attitude towards love and marriage changes throughout “Romeo and Juliet”, from not looking for a relationship, to falling deeply in love with Romeo and getting married, to being so much in love with him she cannot live without him. At the beginning Juliet was asked about her thoughts on marriage. She said that “It is an honor that I dream not of”, meaning that she is not looking for a relationship. However, when Juliet met Romeo at the ball, she started to fall in love with him. Juliet kept spending more time with Romeo and fell deeply in love with him, and eventually got married to him. Juliet was so deeply in love with Romeo that she threatened to kill herself if they did not allow her to be with him. Juliet did not want to live
