Rough draft How can love for a country can lead to a person’s death? The play “the tragedy of Julius Caesar” written by William shakespeare is about Julius Caesar who is about to become king of rome and a group of conspirators consisting out of Brutus, Cassius and others. Who are planning on killing Caesar. Brutus didn’t want to join the conspiracy but cassius talked him into it. All of them kill for different motives. Brutus kills out of love for rome. He thinks Caesar will bring bad to rome. whereas Cassius kills out of hatred and power. After successfully killing Caesar. His good friend Antony becomes a person of power and starts to hunt down the conspirators. Cassius and Brutus find themselves out of rome after fleeing rome of the fear of being killed. Brutus and Cassius army was attacked and defeated. Both saw the future as hopeless so they decided to kill themselves.
