Ever since I was little, I have had a strong love for dinosaurs. At the age of five, I watched the original Jurassic Park and did not know it was possible at the time, but began to love dinosaurs even more. Since then I have seen Jurassic Park over 30 times and have seen every dinosaur movie that I know exists. When Hasbro created its new toy line of dinosaurs, I bought every dinosaur toy they released until they discontinued. I still have every toy in the closet of my room stored next to my collection of dinosaur stuffed animals for my children one day. Due to my obsession, my mother gave me the nickname Samthedinoman that would stick with me forever. I told everyone I knew my new nickname and to no surprise, there was no unanimous love for the name, but from that day forward everyone knew me as either Sam or Samthedinoman. One of my fondest memories is when my friend Julia decided to make a song based on the nickname for a music project. Towards the end of middle school, Instagram and Snapchat became insanely popular, especially for kids my age. Everyone I knew started using the applications and I just had to be a part of the fun. I instantly knew my username would be Samthedinoman which became the username I used for all of my accounts.
The nickname is the most special thing ever given to me and there are three reasons I will never desert it. The first reason is the name’s uniqueness. Samthedinoman is original, different, and specific to only me. No one else has ever owned the nickname because it specifically for myself. The second reason is for consistency.
