Published in 1937, the novel Of Mice and Men was written by John Steinbeck. Of Mice and Men is the story of George Milton, an intelligent but uneducated man, and Lennie Small, a bulky, strong but mentally disabled man who want to scrounge enough money together to someday buy their own little house and a plot of land to farm. However, Lennie keeps getting them into trouble so they can’t finish their jobs. Ultimately, George is forced to kill Lennie after Lennie kills Curley's wife.
