Juvie turns boys into men. It makes the best of kids into hardened criminals. You should read Juvie Three by Gordon Korman because you get experience the daily struggles of Juvie, living away from your family, and the home life, I would highly suggest this book to any reader. If you enjoy reading about the daily struggles of teenagers in bad home lives, this book will hook you like a fish. This book will hit you with the reality of all three. This book is a saddening novel. Juvie Three really put into perspective of how well off I am. You will learn to not take everything for granted. One of the many reasons I would suggest this book, is it feels like you 're right there experiencing the three boys daily struggles. “ It’s all a mistake, they 've called the wrong kid. I 'm going back to the laundromat, where they can finish the job. I need to defend myself!”( 9). This very thought ran through his head before he was attacked. Gecko one of the main characters had this scream through his mind, before being beat with a tube sock packed with bar soap. Imagine having to envision being beat every night you dream. Sadly, this is the reality for the main characters of Juvie Three. Gecko, Arjay, and Terence have to learn to defend themselves in daily quarrels. I …show more content…

I love being at the edge of my seat during a book. If you do to this book is perfect. It will give you a new view on things in life. You will feel like you are right there doing the crime, or skipping school with them. The book is so descriptive it almost feels like you are getting beat with the tube sock of bar soap. If you are interested in reading about three boys getting turned into men, this book is for you. Gecko, Arjay, and Terances stories will reach out and grab you. From being in Juvie, to almost killing their supervisor, and standing up to a bully at school, these boys will touch your heart. This book truly is a story of determination and perseverance. It is amazing how far some hard work and control
