INTRODUCTION
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... also known as K3G, is a 2001 Indian drama film written and directed by Karan Johar and produced by Yash Johar. The film tells the story of an extremely rich Indian family, who face troubles and misunderstandings over their adopted son 's marriage to a girl belonging to a lower socio-economic group as compared to them. In this present case, since it is a movie and the characters are fictional, the tense is present and the age is an approximation.
Amitabh Bachchan is playing the role of Mr. Raichand, Jaya Bachchan playing Mrs. Raichand, Shahrukh Khan playing Rahul, Hritik Roshan playing Rohan, Kajol playing Anjali, and Jibraan Khan playing Krish.

Mr. Raichand is 55 and is a businessman. Mrs. Raichand is 54 and is a housewife. Rahul is 28 and is a businessman as well. His wife, Anjali is 27 and she is a homemaker. Rohan is 22 and has just finished his education. Aryan is an 8 year old, who is a school going student. Mr. Raichand is the nominal and the functional leader of the family. The communication patterns in the family are very weak, because Mr. Raichand is a very dominating and stubborn man of his own principles and does not allow other to put forth their viewpoints. Because of this, the other members of the family are not able to communicate their side of the story to him. And since he is both the nominal and functional leader, it gives him more liberties to take the whole family in his stride. Since Mr. Raichand holds the upper hand in the family, he has all the power in the family. As far as the family rituals are concerned, some of the common ones include respecting elders, abiding by the rules governed by the male members of the family, going by the familial traditions and following their forefathers, respecting women, and most importantly, maintaining a social class of high standard in the
