I want to work as a K9 police officer in Portland and align my skills with my goals. My experience in team sports and extracurriculars has provided me with constitutional cooperation and physical aspects. I plan to further my tactics, client behavior, and regulatory knowledge through training programs and workshops. I need to know more about the hiring process for the K9 unit and the counselor. My goal is to talk to experienced K9 officers for guidance and advice. My academic pursuit is focused on obtaining a degree in criminal justice. I am determined to study criminology and police law and take a course in animal behavior, K9 training and tactical operations to enhance my skills. I am also keen to expand my professional network through associations such as the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and local law enforcement. I am open to exploring volunteer or employment opportunities with the Portland Police Department to further my understanding of the field.
