Kappa Kappa Gamma Mental Health Lesson This lesson is designed to give members an introduction to mental health, an overview of mental health vocabulary and terms, a discussion of coping skills and tips on how to help a sister who is experiencing a mental health challenge as well as a sister who is suicidal. The goals of this lesson are to make mental health an approachable topic, improve communication and trust in the chapter and equip members with skills they need to address their mental health. INTRODUCTION • We’re going to do a lesson about mental health. This is a serious topic that affects all of us and can be really sensitive for members.
