Twelve districts, twenty-four tributes, determined if you die alone, or survive in glory and remembering that suffering time, what would you choose? The Capital does not care about the districts, the Capitol wants us to die, and the Capitol should not own the people. Katniss Everdeen hates the Capitol for making District twelve suffering to survive. Peeta Mellark would do anything to show the Capitol that they don’t own people. The Capitol watches the games for entertainment and they love watching innocent children die. Katniss Everdeen is the protagonist, She is about to change the games.

In the games, Claudius Templesmith in the games announced that two tributes from the same district can be the Victors. At the end of the game, Peeta and Katniss were the only ones alive so they won. A few minutes later Claudius Templesmith announced that there could only be one Victor. Katniss did not want to kill Peeta and Peeta did not want to kill her so, they both were about to eat a nightlock and that is what killed Foxface. The Claudius Templesmith quickly stopped them before they ate them. In the book, it says, “The something unexpected happens. At least, I don’t expect it because I don’t think of District 12 as a place that cares about me. But a shift has occurred since I stepped up to take Prim’s place, and now it seems I have become someone precious. At first, one, then another, then almost every member of the crowd touches the three middle fingers of their left hand to their lips and holds it out to me. The games and the districts relate to real life because there really is children starving around the world. Children and it is not even children many people are starving it that is a very bad thing. It also relates to real life such as the rich keep getting richer. Rich people just keep getting more money every day and the poor gets nothing. I think that Suzanne Collins is trying to caution use if people have to much power and there is no way to stop it. I think Suzanne Collins is concerned that if our world would come to that.
