This examiner administered the BASC-2 SRP to Luis in order to determine whether he was experiencing difficulties within the domains defined and assessed by this measure to be considered within the provision of therapeutic services. According to scores on the Validity Indices of the BASC-2 SRP, Luis attended to the items, and responded consistently to similarly worded test items. Additionally, he did not appear to respond in an overly positive or negative manner. Therefore, his profile was considered valid, and an accurate representation of the youth’s emotional and behavioral functioning.
