Throughout centuries, Wikipedia became one of the biggest encyclopedia, existing in hundreds of languages, containing thousands collection of articles. It gives an overview of the specific subject, linking sources from primary and secondary reliable sources. According to “We Can’t Ignore the Influence of Digital Technologies” written by Cathy N. Davidson states “Wikipedia is not just an encyclopedia. It is a knowledge community, uniting anonymous readers all over the world who edit and correct grammar, style, interpretations, and facts.” Understanding her statement, that people ranging as young as twelve can contribute by writing or editing articles directly. However, pieces can be poorly written with the visual of terrible quality if written by a child or anyone who is illiterate.
