He is a role model and very influential to many all over the planet. He has made a lot of money doing what he does but he also gives back. He has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to sports, after school, and music programs all over Compton, California. This has to be appreciated by the people in Compton, California.He is simply taking all of the resources he was given to try to make where he comes from a better place for everybody and give everyone an opportunity in which they do not have to be forced to join gangs or go into prostitution. Unfortunately, Kendrick knows people who have been put in this place and he feels that is not the lifestyle anyone deserves to live. He even wrote a song about he friends sister that went into prostitution at a young age. Kendrick inspired so many besides getting the key to his city the Senate also honored him as well. Kendrick Lamar was honored with an amazing introduction and the generational icon and took pictures with many other senates. Kendrick also believes that is is an honor and an opportunity to him to be able to give back to his community which raised him. His music motivates so many people. It helps get people who are in down situations such as the minorities from treated badly by giving them a voice.
