Kendrick Lamar has become a generational icon, he has toured the entire world, inspired the youth in many ways, and he has been generously giving back to the streets that once gave and took from him. In Recent Years, Kendrick has released two platinum albums entitled “Good Kid, Maad City” which was his debut album, then his sophomore album that was entitled “To Pimp A Butterfly”. His most recent album covered many controversial topics including: the “Black Lives Matters” movement. He has also helped shed light on the violence that has occured on his native streets of “Compton”.

By that time, Lamar had created a huge fan base and had already worked with many well known artists in the hip hop industry, including Drake, The Game, Snoop Dogg, and Busta Rhymes. In recent news, Kendrick‘s "How Much a Dollar Cost” was declared President Obama’s favorite song of 2015.

In 2014, Kendrick was featured on fellow rapper Big Sean’s song entitled “Control”. In a very controversial verse, He called out many of his peers J.
