Despite the numerous engineering programs within the United States, the University of Kentucky College of Engineering remains unique and desirable. Firstly, the University of Kentucky’s academic programs are nationally recognized, a recognition several institutions desire. Faculty members within this prestigious institution provide extensive curricular lessons, allowing me to engage with future worldly respected engineering and corporate firms. As a result, I could participate in important projects that define America’s cultural customs and acceptances. With over 500 student organizations, including academics, cultural, social, arts, and media, everyone has the opportunity to create everlasting memories with friends and faculty members. In addition, students have the freedom in establishing new activities with guided approvals from the administrators. To summarize, the University of Kentucky provides several student organizations and events to promote happiness and culture to convince students in continuing their academic endeavors. Besides student activities, the University of Kentucky’s academic programs attract people from various regions of the world. As a result, cultural, ethnic, academic, and social elements from individuals will transform my perspective of the world. Ultimately, diverse relationships cause discoveries of new characteristics and personality traits. Finally, this welcoming community also provides a Living Learning Program (LLP). These programs allow opportunities to interact with advisors and engineering graduate students to meet the rigorous expectations of the engineering program.
