She was only a teenager that had so much more in life that could have been done in her future, if she did not make this one carless mistake. Not only was she out at an indecent hour, but also Taylor was under the influence of alcohol while driving. Since she was under the influence, there was no telling the speed in which she was driving. She could have been going 80 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour area. As well as it being dangerous to drink and drive, drinking and driving is also, a crime.
I’m really glad they were able to stop her before, she would have embezzled even more. What’s really weird, is the fact that the house she lives in looks like it’s about $100,000 which probably means she was doing her best to cover it up, so no one could notice. Why steal, when you can just work really hard and actually gain that money, and not having to worry to be caught? Some, people just don’t understand business ethics and, just basic moral ethics. I believe we should have classes in Elementary, Middle and High school that stress on ethics in general, because clearly some people don’t have them.
Selena was widely looked up to in the Mexican American community, and she was an inspiration to everyone who wanted to make a name out of themselves from nothing. Selena Quintanilla-Perez inspired many with her selfless personality and impeccable music, her legacy still lives on today, even 23 years after her death. Abraham Quintanilla and Marcella Ofelia were parents of A.B Quintanilla III, Suzette Quintanilla and Selena. They lived in a house in Lake Jacskon, Texas, where Abraham opened up his own restaurant, Papa Gayo’s. Selena’s musical strength was noticed immediately by her dad, which is why he used Papa Gayo’s as a platform for Selena and her siblings
Lou Ann even gathers the courage to talk to Taylor about family and community, even though Taylor did not want to be in a community. " Taylor, remember that time you were mad at me because you didn't want us to act like a family? That all we needed was a little dog named Spot? Well, don't get mad, but I told somebody that you and Turtle and Dwayne Ray were my family. Somebody at work said, 'Do you have family at home?'
The reason why Selena was admired so much was because Selena pushed herself when it came to situations that weren’t in her comfort zone. For example, her first language wasn’t Spanish. It was English and she was more comfortable with her English singing skills; her father pushed her to sing in Spanish as well.
Taylor is making closer and closer connections with the people around her as she tries to make Turtle open up to her once again after she was molested. Taylor was trying so hard to make everything perfect for her, but in reality “[a]ll you can promise is that you’ll take care of [her] the best you can...and just hope for the best” (226). All this time Taylor has tried to show Turtle that she can protect her from the world. Throughout the traumatic experiences they both went through, this eventually brought Taylor and Turtle closer than ever before. It got to the point where she would do anything for her, even when it came to the government's attention that “[she] had no legal claim to Turtle” (233).
Taylor was now finding out about how the life of her friends was in danger she knew that this could harm them but she also realized that she couldn’t change much because she was all by herself, this motivated her to do as much as she could for those she

At first, all Taylor wants in life is to drive away from home and avoid pregnancy. As soon as Taylor gets a car, she leaves everything
At the 1987 Tejano Music Awards, she won both "Best Female Vocalist of the Year" and "Performer of the Year." Her 1990 album was the first Tejano Record to achieve gold record status. This means that it sold more than 500,000 copies. Chris Perez who was the lead guitarist had a girlfriend at the time in San Antonio, but had feelings for Selena. He tried to distance himself from her, but that didn’t do anything so he tried to build a relationship with her.
Through the entirety of the article Thompson quotes many sources: Klein herself, Amanda Klein-Romign Klein’s daughter, and Sidorov the creator of the fund. When asked if the money has affected Klein her daughter says, “There are other people who it would probably change dramatically. But for her, no, everything's the same pretty much”. Klein is portrayed exceptionally humble and not seeking the lavish lifestyle that her critics may presume. Thompson only uses citations from the people that agree with and support Klein, which strategically developed a positive view of her.
After this incident, Taylor was convinced that she can’t take care of Turtle since she couldn’t keep her safe from the world. According to The Bean Trees, “…That they have the right to take her out of a perfectly good home and put her in some creepy orphanage where they probably make them sleep on burlap bags and feed them pig slop”(Kingsolver 235). Even though, Taylor believed that she can’t keep Turtle safe from this society where people try to hurt a child so young, on the other hand, Lou Ann thinks that Taylor can keep Turtle safer than anybody else. According to Abuse in America, “As of September 30, 2004, there were 517,000 children in foster care in the United States” (“Abuse in America”). This shows that people that are living the way that Lou Ann has described is not safe for children, not to mention that lots of people, because of poverty put their children

He was the one who picked out the people to go to the gas chambers. He also did horrible experiments on his “patients.” They usually died from then and if they didn’t die then he would kill them. Joseph Mengele did many terrible things.
