In the documentary, “Killer inside:the mind of Aaron Hernandez”it follows the infamous professional athlete Aaron Hernandez. Taking a deep dive into the psychology and childhood of Mr. Hernandez ,and tries to find the reasoning behind his grievous crimes and his eventual suicide.
The documentary starts out with a series of phone calls and radio snippets regarding the murder committed by Hernandez, This is followed by snippets about his career with the patriots. These bits of information serve as the initial hook of the documentary making the viewer want to find out more concerning Aaron Hernadez and his crimes. After the Hook the director begins to build his line of reasoning by first examining Hernadez’s childhood and high school years through a series of interviews. When exploring his childhood it is revealed that ,contrary to popular belief Aaron did not grow up poor, in fact he grew up in an upper middle class neighborhood in Connecticut, and had everything going for him. According to all accounts, Aaron was a hard working young man who was loved by all. It is also stated that Hernandez’s father accomplished the American dream of moving from another country and creating a life for himself, however, they make note that his father pushed Aaron very hard …show more content…

This builds the point of how unexpected and out of character this supposedly was for Aaron. The director then adds to the line of reasoning by dividing back into Aarons personal life. The documentary states that as a young man ,despite growing up in a middle class family, Aaron had a tendency to associate with the wrong type of people. He continued this trend in New England and become friends with a gaggle of small town crooks and other various bad influences. The documentary implies that this could have possibly also contributed to Aarons eventual decision to take the life of another human
