The story of King Arthur is a myth. King Arthur has been known as a leader and then other times he was known as not even being alive. Some articles say that experts still disagree about whether or not he was a leader or just some local hero. Little is known about the possible figure that inspired the story of King Arthur: (“King Arthur Biography”). People all over the world have been telling the fabulous tales and romances of Arthur and his kingdom. Arthur did a lot of his work at the Camelot. The Camelot was the name of the place where King Arthur held court and was the location of the famous Round Table: (“Camelot, Court of King Arthur”). He had an alleged life, a military career, and associates. The military career paid off because he fought many battles and wars during his time and did a lot with his community in the fighting aspect. He fought 12 battles and hi army killed in every single battle ever fought. He was a very successful and knowledgeable man in helping them win these wars. Centuries have passed since the English adopted Arthur as a national hero. He did so many things for his kingdom and tried so hard to keep things going. They adopted him as a hero because they thought he could help them fix different things that nobody else could help with. Such as the wars and the battles that were fought, he helped their army get strong enough to fight and kill to help their country. When King Arthur was growing up he didn’t have any knowledge of his royal ancestry. Both his father and his paternal uncle were commanders in chief of the native Britons: (Norma Lorre Goodrich). When Arthur pulled the sword from a block of stone he proved himself the rightful heir to the throne and became king. When he became the king of the country, he became responsible for everybody in that country and even the residences. After he became king he had several residences and his favorite was Camelot, it was a castle in southern England. Arthur had thirteen residences that he was in charge of and was responsible for. They were very happy together until one day he had found out that there was a love affair between Queen Guinevere and Sir Lancelot, the greatest knight of the Round Table. Later the Queen had been abducted and nobody knew where she went or what had happened to her. When she went missing, they said that it could be constructed as a testimony to the growing popularity of King Arthur, since he was reputedly her descendant: (Norma Lorre Goodrich). Arthur did have an education once he became king. His education was the same as a Roman field officer’s. At one point Arthur and Gawain were educated side by side, so close they were successful during their military operations. King Arthur was also a commander in chief just like four of his ancestors were. Sir Launcelot was kidnapped as an infant by the mysterious Lady of the Lake, from whom he received his education and got the title, Launcelot of the Lake. As a young man he went to the court of King Arthur, where he was knighted and became one of the most feared warriors in all. Launcelot was the lover of Guinevere, his sovereign's queen.
