King Henry VIII’s first wife was Katharine of Aragon. She was the daughter of Queen Isabella I of Castile and King Ferdinand II of Aragon. At the age of three, she was betrothed to King Henry VII’s son, Prince Arthur and they married in 1501. Shortly after their marriage, Prince Arthur passed away, most likely from tuberculosis. Seven years later, she was married to King Henry VIII when he turned 18.

Anne Boleyn was the sister of one of Henry's mistresses Mary Boleyn. She lived in France for part of her childhood with Mary Tudor, queen of France and Henry VIII’s sister. When she was there she want to speak French fluently. Most likely had a six finger or if you moles on her face because those things might have been captivating to the king. She returned to England and married the heir of Ormonde. After their marriage fell through she had a few affairs and caught the attention of King Henry.
Henry VIII became interested in Anne after he started seeing her sister Mary. He probably sought out Anne as a mistress, but he just tried to divorce Catherine. During their affair, Anne constantly denied Henry's sexual favors but then he gave her the option of queen or nothing. Henry was so in love with and that he wrote her several love letters when she was away from court 17 of these love letters to and are preserved in the Vatican Library.
Anne became frustrated because I want to time it took for Henry and Catherine's marriage to be annulled. She feared that Henry might go back to Catherine at the marriage cannot be annulled. And the people in England already hated
