One very exciting and historic place to go visit is Fort Henry. Fort Henry was built from 1832 to 1837, to replace the existing barricade from the war amongst the time of 1812. Throughout the years, armies and troops have occupied the space and several schools and camps have also taken place in the Fort. But, the fort later fell into brutal disrepair, until 1936 when the fort was completely restored as a living history museum. Today, Fort Henry is still a museum and historic site, where visitors can experience a whole new perspective of 19th century military life.
