When people talk about the best basketball player of our era, usually players such as Kobe Bryant and LeBron James lie somewhere among the list. Both players were drafted out of high school in the first round and at a young age showed that they both in play are known forever as some of the greatest players to ever play.
The ultimate trait in all sports is leadership. Between Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, it 's difficult to say who is the leader of their team, whereas they both exist as the core to the team they play on. LeBron James is currently a part of the Cleveland Cavaliers averaged 25.3 points with superstars Kyrie Irving (#2 ranked PG in the NBA, Averaging 21.7 points) and Kevin Love (Averaged 16.4 points) accompanying him. Both players excel on and off the court with their style of play. Offensively, Bryant can play anywhere from the point guard all the way to the small forward due to his 6 '6, 205 lbs frame. Bryant is known as one as the greatest scorers of all time knowing that he can take on multiple defenders and still find a way to score. For example, Kobe has 25 games where he has scored 50 or more points and in one game scored 81 points against the Toronto Raptors in 2006. Not only can he score, although Kobe is known to take indubitable forcing when it comes to taking the last shot. LeBron however, is a different breed of player. Being 6 '8, weighing 250 lbs and having a 40+ inch vertical are key assets of what make him as dominant as he is. James is more of a versatile player due to the fact he can and has successfully played every position on the court. LeBron isn 't as smart when it comes to shot choice, he is still known to force shots if they need a bucket.
