Introduction: Kobe Bryant is one of the greatest basketball players of all time. But what made him different was his work ethic and his willingness to win. Childhood and early life Kobe Bryant was born on August 23rd, 1978. He was the youngest of his 2 sisters. From a young age, Kobe was tested as he was forced to move to Italy because of his dad's basketball with that being said “Bryant and his two older sisters, Sharia and Shaya, attended parochial schools in Italy and learned to speak Italian.”(Bryant 1).
