Students at Martin Luther King Middle School have been debating on who the better basketball player is. A lot of people said “Kyrie Irving”, “Wilt Chamberlain, “Michael Jordan”, “Lebron James”, “Stephen Curry”, “Kevin Durant”, “Kareem Abdul Jabbar” , “Tracy Mcgrady”, “Allen Iverson”, and “Kobe Bryant”. Kobe Bryant was the most dominant player in the NBA, and will go down in history as the most successful basketball player ever.

Kobe Bean Bryant was the most outstanding player in the NBA, due to the fact that he was drafted out of highschool which most players in the NBA rarely are, but he was the 13th pick in the 1st round at the age of 18, and later on traded to the LA Lakers by the Charlotte Hornets, they're he became a 5-time champ leading his team to 7 finals only winning 5 and averaged 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, for his career. …show more content…

Bryant earned other achievements during his 20 year career as a Laker such as, a 2-time finals MVP, 18-time All-Star, 12-time All Defensive team, 4-time All-Star MVP(which he has tied up with Bob pettit for having the most All-Star MVP awards), 2 time olympian, NBA Slam dunk champ, 15-time All NBA Selection, 5-time champ, 2-time NBA scoring champion, they're is a lot more, but these are just accomplishments that some most players do not
