Whenever people talk about the top player in NBA history the three players always talked about are Michael Jordan, Lebron James, and Kobe Bryant. These three players have all had tremendous careers in the NBA and are without a doubt the best 3 to ever play the game. Many people think Michael Jordan is the best player in NBA history, while others think the best player is Lebron James or Kobe Bryant.

Born august 23rd, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Kobe Bryant spent his early years in Italy and joined the NBA straight out of high school. Kobe Bryant is the son of former NBA player Joe "Jellybean" Bryant (Kobe Bryant Biography.com Famous Basketball Players(1978–). While Kobe was still young his father took him and his family and moved to Italy. His father played in the Italian league after 8 seasons in the NBA. Kobe and his 2 older sisters Shaya and Sharia grew up in Italy. Kobe speaks Italian fluently, that was his first language( Kobe Bryant high school interview and highlights 1966 1:11-1:14). In 1991 Kobe's family moved back to Philadelphia and Kobe attended lower Merion high school (Kobe Bryant Biography.com Famous Basketball Players(1978–). He leads his team to 4 straight state championships. Like Lebron, Kobe skipped college and went straight to the NBA. he was also selected in the first round. He was picked 13th overall by the Charlotte Hornets and traded later that day to the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe’s NBA career would start off slow with him only averaging 7 points per game. from his rookie season in 1996-2001, his point totals would rise each year. Kobe would go on to create another dynasty in LA. In his, 20-year long career in L.A Kobe would win 5 NBA championships. Kobe partnered up with the great big man Shaquille O'Neal would win back to back to back championships in 2000, 2001, and 2002. He would go on a title drought until winning the finals again in 2009 and his last NBA championship in 2010. Over his 20-year career, Kobe would score 33,643 points(NBA History- Points Leaders). That is the 3rd most points all time. In his final game of his career, he would score 60 points on his home court against the jazz and win.
