Kohl’s has slowly become a known department store over the last few decades. The corporation is now located in nearly every city, and state. This is the place to go to if you would like to buy clothing items for a fairly cheap price, as well as accessories, and technology. Personally, I shop at this department store much more than any other department stores. Why do I choose to shop at this retail store much more over many others? Well After doing some research on this certain company’s trading on the New York Stock Exchange, I have come to learn a lot of information about this company, and learn my reasons for choosing this store. If you were to go out to Kohls.com, they have multiple categories to choose from that suit your taste. These categories are as follows: apparel, foot wear (for men, women, and kids), Accessories, bed and bath products, home furnishings, home appliances, shoes, jewelry, and as well as toys. Kohl’s has multiple private brands that they sell both online and in stores. The private brands are moderately priced. These private brands are as follows: Apt. 9, Croft & Barrow, Jumping Beans (for children), SO and Sonoma Goods for Life. While they have quite a few private brands that bring in great revenue, they also have the rights to sell some exclusive brands that are only available at Kohl’s. Those brands include Food Network, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Rock & Republic and Simply Vera Wang. 2004 was the first year that Kohl’s started partnerships with other brands. The first brand would be Estee Lauder. A partnership with Estee Lauder allowed them to open up a new beauty department in its department stores. Later on in the year, Kohl’s was able to broaden its product portfolio with the introduction of several new exclusive, private and national brands, such as Daisy Fuentes, Oh Baby!
