Despite what many people might think, American and Korean culture is well known across hundreds of nations on the planet. Both cultures have been around for thousands of years and they both have a very important meaning in the lives that live in these two countries. It would be safe to assume that American and Korean culture is going to be around for a long time and have a tremendous impact on the lives of many people. America and Korea have differences in health care, school, and music systems. The health care in both countries is different. Korea’s music system is very, very different because they train their idols, while America is based on who can make it to the top. Popular Korean companies are SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment. SM holds the famous EXO, Super Junior, and SHINee. YG holds Big Bang, Winner, and 2ne1. Lastly JPY holds GOT7, 2 PM, and 2 AM. Although Korean music has found a way to spread into the world, the American system of music is not as harsh as Korea’s. In Korea they have to audition into a company and train for however long they decide to hold the idol. Also Korea has more boy and/or girl groups than they have solo artists. For example, Johnny Seo who is under SM has been training for nine years. Training includes singing, dancing, composing, and acting. America does not have a complex system and is based on who catches the attention of people. For instance, Nicki Minaj is an American rapper, singer and songwriter that caught the attention of Young Money Entertainment.
