The film Gran Torino follows the life of a retired automotive industry worker and war veteran Walt Kowalski as he gets involved in his new Hmong neighbors gang conflicts. However against all recommendations to leave the once prosperous city of Detroit, Mr. Kowalski decides to continue living in his old run down neighborhood.
