My Life Story
Kylee Splinter This is the story of my life. I am going to tell you about my life, from the day I was born up to present time, 2065. I will talk about my husband, kids and grandkids. If you’re wondering how my life went… you’re going to have to keep reading to find out. On May 3, 2005, I was born at 6:33 P.M. at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. My full name is Kylee Rose Splinter. If I were a boy, my name would be Coe (middle name) Splinter. I weighed 7.6 lbs. and inches tall. When I was born, my parent (Adam Paul Splinter and Kelli Lynn Duehr) just got married, so we lived in my grandma and grandpa’s basement.
Soon, my dad got a new job at John Deere, so my parents bought a new house. I didn’t really see my dad that much when I was little because both of my parents had to go to school every day, so I went to an in-home daycare across the street. I went to Hempstead High School and joined the softball team. I got to choose my classes and got in the gold honor roll every year. On my sixteenth birthday, I got my driver’s license and a new car.
I went to college at Clarke University, studying to be a special ed. preschool teacher, like my mom. I graduated college with a teaching degree and I got a job teaching with the Dubuque Community School District. My favorite part of my job was working with kids and helping them learn. I didn’t hate anything about it. When I was 23 I got married and had two kids, Maddison (Maddie for short) and Max, who are twins. My husband was a football player and my kids went to Sageville Elementary School, then Jefferson Middle School, then Hempstead High School. Maddie went to college at Loras Community College and Max went to University of Iowa and played football for the Iowa
