L. A. Confidential Analysis

The movie L.A. Confidential was interesting to watch because it reflects how the police was back then. I think that I identify myself with Ed Exley in some way because he is a college boy and he is ambitious. He wants to do everything correctly by the law and when he wants to intervene in situations that are not legal, the other police officers ignored him even though he is a Sergeant. Also, when he wants something he obtains it such as being a Lieutenant in the investigation division. Another, way he gets what he puts his mind is to be getting Sergeant Jack Vincennes to testify about the incident where officer Stensland was hitting an arrested person. Ed Exley did something unethical to be recognized and it seems that he only cares about himself
