I want to be a LACI member because the organization stands at the intersection of socially aware work and pre-professional development. I want to be a LACI member so I can be a positive component of a group comprised of engaged, motivated, and success-minded people. I want to be a LACI member because it extends unparalleled aid to deserving groups which perform essential work for the LA community at large. Los Angeles Community Impact is the pairing of many tremendous aspects: volunteerism, activism, professionalism, and an overall sense of passionate engagement with the world that surrounds USC. Throughout many of my work experiences or life experiences in general, I again find myself in tough positions wherein "grit" is the only solvent; a little, or sometimes a lot, of motivation, determination, and an understanding that certain things take hard work to gain success help to solve almost any situation. Moreover, I believe I can bring a wide understanding of different fields or topics because of past work engagements, as well as an aptitude for adapting to certain needs of the organization. For instance, I started working at an accounting firm with almost no knowledge of financial well-being, management, or hard-skills related to the field, but throughout the last few months taught myself the basics of coding, the use of QuickBooks and Lacerate, advanced processes of Google Sheets and Excel, and more. I am always willing accept I don't know something, or that I failed, and going on to learn the solution. In specific, I would relate this experience to the fact that I have an extending understanding concerning office management, client communication, funding, and organizational software, as well as working with groups large and
