From childhood I was visualized myself of becoming a successful person. After completing my bachelor of commerce, my family wanted me to pursue my higher education from abroad. With my parent’s blessing and my hard work I managed to get enrolled in Master of Accounting and financial Management at one of the prestigious university, La Trobe University of Australia. I arrived in the new country, thousands of miles away from my loved one with hope and dreams in my eyes. La Trobe University produced an environment and offered support due to which I was able to successfully finish my master’s course. As a result mismanagement took place and there was downfall in the productivity level of the team. To simply put, I was unable to supervise them. Moreover, member of the team used to turn a blind eye to my bidding. I felt invisible in the crowd. Self-doubt began to enter my sub conscious mind and I was uncertain about my leadership skills. I accepted my limitation of leading and managing people. The same work environment which used to evoke excitement and eagerness within me, become my reason of unhappiness. I faced my fear and programmed my mind to focus on converting my weakness of leading and managing people into my strength. My supervisor was an understanding and a great man .I shared my situation with him and found out about courses which focuses on leadership and management course mainly designed to help plan, execute and evaluate an individual performance and the work of their team.
