Lady Macbeth is indeed the dominant one between herself and her spouse Macbeth. With ease she could have persuaded Macbeth to do her dirty work whenever she pleased to do so. She doesn’t show this power over him in public places or around people but rather when they’re behind closed doors in private. Her tactics consisted of using shame and or questioning his manhood to emotional corruption to control his mind to ultimately execute her idea or will. If not already obvious enough, Lady Macbeth is the snake in the garden corrupting Macbeth to become an evil character throughout the play slowly but shortly. He has a good first impression unlike his wife whose first appearance is already full of schemes to murder. She has corrupted macbeth throughout the play along with the witches who also corrupted him. Macbeth immediately felt the guilt of these ill deeds while it took awhile for Lady MAcbeth to feel some type of remorse. It is fairly obvious that Lady Macbeth’s role in this play is to push Macbeth to the side of evil. Her cruel mind games is what really takes a toll on Macbeth. Constantly questioning his manhood and calling him a coward resulted in macbeth taking up after her.He begins to do things without her and committing murders without her even having to tell him to. Macbeth has a conscience and is constantly regretting his actions expressed through vivid hallucinations and non stop nightmares. No other character, except for the witches, are as evil as she is. Lady macbeth can rightfully be deemed the most evilest non supernatural being in this play. Macbeth can be considered a tragic hero because he was manipulated throughout the entire play not only by the three hags but by his own wife as well. Macbeth is truly a good person turned bad character but his wife was evil since her first introduction. Some readers can feel remorse for Macbeth after his death but almost no one can feel empathy for Lady Macbeth’s death.
