This was spoken by Lady Macbeth to Macbeth in which she is relating Macbeth’s action to her own example of herself, as a mother, with a baby. Lady Macbeth is making a scene of an inseparable relationship of a mother nursing her own infant child by making an act of murder to the baby. The analogy that she made with a mother to a baby have created a comparison to the experience of Macbeth planning to murder King Duncan in order to make the plan less terrifying and intense.
