These observations are from her teaching perspective, and from her son’s own experience in high school. Each state’s constitution must vary so that it can apply to the smooth functionality of that state and the different beliefs of its citizens. Article 4 Section 1 of the Constitution states, “Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records, and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof” (The Constitution). This idea ensures that each state respect one another’s laws, even if the laws vary. States have been given the freedom to create their own laws, but there would be no diverse culture or respect for others in the United States if each state acted under the exact same rule.

The problem with this is many teenagers take advantage of that privilege and become reckless drivers. The government has put laws in place which prevents teenagers from driving alone for the first year and keeps laws in place so teenagers can’t abuse there laws. Meanwhile, many adults still argue the safety on the road even with restrictions in place. These laws are here to keep everyone on the road safe not only the new drivers.

There are many other rules regarding safe driving such as wearing a seatbelt, driving sober, no distracted driving, having only the set amount of people in your vehicle as it permits, not driving recklessly and many more.
