341 Words2 Pages
“The price of greatness is responsibility.” This quote by Winston Churchill creates a pause for us to understand, the only way to succeed is to fail. When you are given multiple responsibilities you will fail at one point, but failing will help you understand what went wrong and how can you prevent it from occurring again!
The first excerpt, “Making Driving a Federal Matter”, Laine Picker gives a general explanation on the restrictions on receiving and having a driver’s license. “Currently, driving privileges are regulated on a state-by-state basis.” In this section of this excerpt Picker explain that the laws for that laws differ in different states. I feel that all states in the United states should abide by the same laws! I was stopped by a police officer when I went to New York and he told me that he was stopping me because I had a crack in my window and he said that law are different out here. I believe that if all laws were the same in the United States no one will have to ask what are they doing wrong.
