Larry Nassar On January 24, 2018 Larry Nassar was sentenced 40 to 175 years in a state prison. He pled guilty to the sexual assault of minors, and has been convicted as a child molester. Nassar was the USA Gymnastics national team doctor and a physician at Michigan State University. Nassar sexually assaulted, hundreds of underage girls, including some well-known gymnasts. He will now be spending the rest of his life in prison. Before his sentencing, many of the victims were able to give their testimony to Nassar about how much of a negative impact he had on their lives. The first article I researched was from the website of Mother Jones. The coverage is decently credible because it was updated recently. It also has quotes directly from Nassar. The information is verified, because it is copyrighted by Mother Jones and the Foundation for National Progress .
