As a Latina from immigrant parents, I have come to understand the value of education. My parents' journey, leaving their homeland in search of a better life and opportunities for their family, is a testament to their resilience and determination. Their sacrifices and hard work have shown me that they will do whatever it takes for me to have a brighter future and more opportunities. My educational goals are to pursue a career in law and become a lawyer. I am driven to make a difference and have a positive impact on my community. Having witnessed firsthand the struggles faced by many Latinx individuals, from language barriers to cultural differences, I am determined to use my skills and knowledge to provide assistance in any way I can. I am deeply committed to using my legal education to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Growing up as a Latina, I have personally experienced the systemic barriers and biases that hinder our communities from achieving equal access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. I have witnessed the devastating effects of deportation and family separation on our families and communities.
