The higher the leadership position, the higher the likelihood of knowing about the organizational change concept. In this regard, the top leadership is said to be more aware of change than the low-level employees. For this reason, change faces more opposition in the lower levels that it does in the higher levels of management. Also, the level of knowledge differs depending on the number of years that an individual has worked for an organization (Fullan 2014). Leadership has further the responsibility of shaping the culture so as to be a soft ground for the implementation of change.
