Mostly in great organizations, those individuals committed with Leadership has been appreciated as the ones with the “ ability” to inspire confidence and support among others. The leader position is the one carried by the one within a group qualified as a “solver of superior problems, an excellent Communicator who at the same time is emotionally intelligent and owns solid interpersonal relationship skills”. Several authors have designated skills required to be developed by leaders. Hersey (Huber, 2013) for example, refers as diagnosing ( cognitive), adapting ( behavioral), and communicating( process) the skills required in the competency process of leadership. Moreover, Goleman (Huber, 2013) increases the list of requirements of a leader with the “emotional intelligence”, meaning that the leader behavior will impact the team attitudes. Leadership then is described a method to influence individuals to achieve goals. From several descriptions, leadership is a social phenomenon because includes the interaction among people. Both concepts share the final outcome to achieve goals( where the two overlaps), and both have different ways to make it happen. May management have the process, rules, methods, timing and resources to complete the tasks, but management lacks of the behavior of the leader, capable of motivating and encouraging a group to fulfill an outcome.
