There will always be those who lead the pack and those who follow. We as humans love to stay in our comfort zones and cliques. It takes a strong leader who can set the right example in order for the group to progress. Likewise, individuals also need a manager to govern the people under the leader. It takes a healthy balance of leadership and management in order for the group to flourish. I believe that it takes people with the right qualities in order to lead and manage successfully. Throughout time and history, great leaders have developed nations and destroyed nations. One can glance through the history books and be immersed with details of these great leaders. in order to protest for his cause. Luther’s ability to communicate, be decisive, and be personally relatable allowed the masses to grasp his ideas and follow his teachings. Thus, we know him as one of great leaders of his time and of the civil rights movement. They must be able to train the people underneath them in the ways that allow them to safely and effectively complete the job. It is up to the management at any workplace to train any employees so staying updated to date and being able to teach effectively are important for a manager. The third important quality ties in with the ability to teach. It is the ability to finish a task. A manager is set forth to ensure employees finish their respective tasks. It is up to the manager to train the employees in the correct way to finish their task. The fourth quality a manager should have is self discipline. They should be able to be friendly with the people under them while keeping a distance that ensures the manager to employer relationship is kept up. They must
