After reviewing the Leadership Styles presentation I would have to say that the different leadership models were pretty familiar. I was most familiar with the environment of an administrative leadership model of a mid-size organization with a metropolitan community because it fits the exact environment of where I work. Our administrative works diligently to boost productivity and to encourage us that we should work effectively in achieving the goals of the company. Quality and Compliance are very important considering it is a part of the ethical standards for a law firm. The company is in fact a midsize agency because we have nearly 500 employees and have recently introduced new software and advanced technology that helps us communicate with our clients better and complete tasks more accurate and efficiently. With our clients and contractors operating nationwide there is definitely a fluid of geographic (outsourcing), residential, and economic patterns (Capella University, n.d). The Leadership style assessment resulted that I was a Transformational and Servant Leader. I would strongly agree with these results. As in many of my relationships with family, friends, co-workers, and even strangers I try to provide them with applicable information that could bring forth solutions or increase productivity to their work. I strongly believe that only knowledge with application is wisdom so I would gladly allow my followers to take authority in certain projects within the organization.
