The National Honor Society is preeminent for recognizing students with imminent grades and honorable characters, I believe this organization makes a great impact in the community and helps in the overall betterment of the student as well. I would like to be assimilated in these community services to my school and to my community. I have heard how this club makes a person a better leader with a good character and discipline. I have been looking forward to this opportunity since the beginning of High School. To me, NHS’s four pillars are essential elements to being a member of this society.
The National Honor Society is an organization that enables high school students to help and improve their school and neighboring communities. It is an immense honor and privilege to be invited to be a member of this association, and it would be an even greater honor to actively participate and add to the existing society in ACST. Joining the National Honor Society would help me grow as a person and allow me to demonstrate the 4 pillars of NHS, in effect helping our school community and region in general. Leadership and service are both exhibited by all NHS members. This year, I have been starting to become both a silent and appointed leader in class.
I am deeply honored and humbled to be among the brilliant and best students who are being considered for the NHS. I have been looking forward to this opportunity since I was accepted at Brophy. I know that National Honor Society does great things in our world today. I was a part of National Junior Honor Society at Saint Theresa Catholic School and that that has had a huge impact on the person I am today. I believe that I exemplify the four pillars of National Honors Society, those being character, scholarship, leadership, and service.
The National Honor Society (NHS) stands by such values as Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and character; it is these values that I strive to live by. I have received the opportunity to become a proud member of the NHS, and have been humbled by this chance. Throughout my high school career I try to be involved in anything I can help the school, from being a part of community service activities. Also, I have achieved my goal to work as hard as I possibly can to stand out among my peers. Even outside of school I have worked to uphold the values of club, and shall continue to do so if I chosen.
The National Honor Society consists of a reputable group of students that are involved in many other activities and hold themselves to the utmost standards. It is an honor to be apart of a wonderful collection of students that give their all. As all members of the NHS will attest, this organization makes their four pillars well-known and expects all students to work towards bettering themselves in those areas. Scholarship, service, leadership, and character are the pillars that the NHS built themselves upon.
I am honored to be among the thousands applying for such an amazing organization such as the National Honor Society (NHS). I believe that the NHS does so many remarkable things for our society, and I am certain that I can help contribute to its development. The function of the National Honors Society is to recognize the achievements of students in and outside of school. Its job is to not only commemorate those who made honor roll, but also those who have shown outstanding service, character, and leadership.
Joining National Honor Society would be an absolute pleasure. I would love to bring my communication skills, leadership, and service into this program. I consider myself to be hard-working young woman that will be the requirements to be in this group. Dedication, determination, and perseverance are only a few of the things I will bring in. The four pillars of National Honor Society have shaped me into an impactful leader during my time at Saydel High School. There have been many opportunities for me to give back to the Saydel community through extensive service projects. As a lifelong learner, I continue to seek new learning opportunities that will enrich the lives of others around me. I have made many profound impacts on Saydel students and the community during my time involved with National Honor Society. I have been fully committed to learning during my time in National Honor Society, always seeking new opportunities to better my knowledge.
Acquiring leadership skills along with a strong character and the sense to serve others is vital. A leader should be resourceful, dependable, selfless, and a good problem solver. I have led in many ways- inside and outside of school. Last year as a tenth grader, I was class secretary for Class Council.
It is a great honor to be nominated as a member of the National Honor Society. There are many reasons why I want to take part in NHS. One reason why I want to be in it is to continue to grow academically with people who have the same goals as me. I want to be encouraged, not discouraged by the people around me. If I get into NHS, it will give me a lot of opportunities to be a leader.
There are several different qualities that make up who I am as a person, but there are four that stand out when it comes to being a National Honor Society member. These include character, leadership, scholarship and service. To begin with, I feel that character is an important quality to possess. In school, I have never been written up for violating code or have served a school detention/suspension and I hope not to in the future.
I apply one hundred percent of myself to everything I do in and out of the classroom. I hope to continue to learn more about myself in order to become my best self and i truly feel like becoming a member of National Honor Society can provide me the opportunity to do so. I also enjoy giving back to people in need and I feel like my work ethic will be a great asset to NHS when it comes to getting more done throughout our community and our school. I also come from south america so when volunteering at spanish speaking places I can translate and help people that way. NHS will also benefit from me because I always put an effort to what I do and volunteering will be easy for me because I love seeing people smile. When I was 14, I saw my remarkable cousin walk across the stage to receive her award for all her years of dedication to be inducted into National Honor Society. She encompassed all the requirements for entrance into the National Honor Society and ever since then, I have had my mindset on following in her footsteps and stepping even farther to conquer the indefinite. As I opened the letter to be invited to apply for membership, I could not even remember the last time my eyes and smile sprouted that immense because to me, being nominated to be a member of the National Honor Society is an honor in itself. I would be thrilled to join such a society because of the limitless opportunities it would present to me. Joining NHS would allow me to grow as a person and do as much as I can for others.
