While at Denver Human Services, in the HR Department, I worked as a Project Manager for the department. I worked with CSA to implement Kronos at DHS. This required me to gather system functionality and identify/create business processes and functional decomposition the gathered information. From here, I conducted change management session to aid Managers, Supervisors and Employees through the change.

Also at DHS, it was identified that succession planning software was needed by the business. I conducted business requirement meetings to identify what they were trying to accomplish with the system. Sanjel is an oil and gas company where the majority of our employees work in the field, where computers neither are readily available nor is, internet connection. The industry is heavily regulated and field employees require compliance and regulatory training on an ongoing basis. The issue is, removing operators from the field, especially key positions, may bring production to a halt. To keep production occurring, and to meet regulatory mandates, it was brought to me to identify and create a solution.

The solution was utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS) that allows for learners to complete training from a mobile device, without internet connection. Once I found a system that provided the functionality requested. I conducted cost analysis to ensure there is a cost savings. In addition to the cost analysis, a business analysis was conducted to identify feasibility with our field personnel and the company benefit.

I partnered with Senior Management to present the system functionality and the benefit to the organization. When presenting to Management, it is critical to simplify the system functionality and the process to complete the end goal. This allows them to understand the system, without the terminology utilized in the industry which they may not
