Lemonade Beyoncé’s Finest Hour Beyoncé is a world renowned singer, songwriter, and artist. She started her career when she was only about sixteen. She was first in an all-girl group called Destiny’s Child, but then veered off to a solo career. She has always been a star before then, competing in competitions and pageants all around the Houston area. Her mother was the coach behind the scenes pushing Beyoncé to succeed at everting she did. In her mid-stage of her career Beyoncé has been named the “hottest” female artist of pop, arguably the queen of pop. Now, in her mature adult years she is not only viewed as a great artist, but a visionary, an activist, and a maven of the music industry. Beyoncé has become an iconic symbol for all women and even men around the world! She has become so iconic that she is said to be the female version of Michael Jackson. In the inner meaning of the first few songs Beyoncé ambiguously poses a dilemma. The dilemma she introduces is that apparently her husband Shawn Corey Carter (Jay Z) has cheated on her. This dilemma was a shock for her fans, because everything Beyoncé does is perfect, she is perfect, her marriage is perfect, so the media would have you to believe. Beyoncé is not an artist who usually is one to air out her business making this another reason for her fans to be surprised. This dilemma is what made her whole album iconic. Beyoncé is now looked at as a human being. She is now looked at as a person who is capable of having flaws. By having common flaw of adultery present in her album it made listeners identify with her situation that she was going through. Other underlying messages such as black empowerment, feminism, racism, violence, and exceptional love were in cooperated in the album as well, making this album very
