Leon Trotsky Lev Davidovich, or should I say Mr. Leon Trotsky. Born in a Jewish farm to David and Anna Bronstein. At 8 years old he was sent to school in Odessa where he became enthralled with Marxism. He later moved to Nikolayev in the Ukraine to study more into Marxism. Leon Trotsky was one of the most important revolutionaries in the history of Russia, who fought alongside others. Selected the Commissar of War he helped to win battles against the forces that were opposed to Bolshevik principles. During his reign, Trotsky was responsible for building the Red Army and led it to an overwhelming victory in the battle against the White Army. All of Trotsky's life he struggled to promote theories regarding the Marxist society. Leon Trotsky has many relations and similarities, one of the biggest is Animal farm. Animal farm, is a book written by George Orwell. In the book Leon compares to Snowball, where both are leaders that headed up a revolution against the older leader.
