The renaissance was a time of art and rebirth. Many great artists appeared during this time bringing their own individual skills and talent. These artists were Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello, and Raphael. However out of the four, Leonardo was the most significant. Not only was he a great artist, but an inventor, engineer, and scientist. He was by far the greatest renaissance artist. He was very talented in painting, so talented that his paintings have been easily argued the best in the world. The leonardo DBQ states, “... In the present era it is arguably the most famous painting in the world.” He also had artistic talent when he was a kid, “...
