Throughout centuries, artists have come and gone, painting various moments in history along the way. Although one artist in particular not only showed the past through his art, he showed our current future as well. Born in 1452, Leonardo da Vinci was more than just a painter, he was a sculptor, a writer, an inventor and a scientist. From awing generations with his painted masterpieces, such as the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper, to designing one of the first helicopters and parachutes, da Vinci has been considered a Universal Genius.
